FIELD: centrifugal electric pumps.
SUBSTANCE: vertical single-stage centrifugal electric pump unit with a self-cleaning flow path is proposed, including a vertical centrifugal pump, a drive motor and a coupling connecting the pump and motor shafts. In this case, the vertical centrifugal pump is made in the form of an inlet pipe, a pump housing, a housing cover and an outlet pipe, and an open-type impeller is installed on the shaft in the pump housing cover. Also, an armored disc is additionally installed in the pump casing on the side of the inlet pipe, while a gap is made between the end surface of the impeller blades and the armored disc, and the pump casing is configured to adjust the gap distance between the impeller and the armored disc by installing a plate between the pump casing and the casing cover.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability of operation of vertical single-stage centrifugal electric pump units when pumping liquids with a high content of long-fibre inclusions, as well as the constructive ability to adjust the pressure generated by the pump at a constant supply.
