SUBSTANCE: forecast of initial video signal in current frame is composed of video sequence. Remaining signal is generated by subtraction of initial video signal forecast from initial video signal in current frame, conversion is applied to remaining signal. Multitude of conversion coefficients is quantised. Code book is selected from multiple code books in order to code at least one of significant series and end of block. At least one of significant series and end of block is coded with the help of selected code book.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of information coding in video compression.
