FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed tool comprises cylindrical working head and stem secured on one of the head end face surfaces, both being furnished with coolant feed bore. At least a part of face surface whereto the stem is attached is inclined to make second end face surface of the head in its axial tapered section to produce back undercut. Note here that said stem is shifted relative to head axis toward the side opposite the inclined surface. Coolant feed bore can be inclined to said tapered section.
EFFECT: improved cooling and slime removal from cutting zone.
