FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to orthopedics and traumatology and can be used in the surgical treatment of aseptic necrosis of the femoral head at an early stage of the disease. Combined circular drill comprises a working part for shaping a blind hole and cutting bone segment, and a shank for fastening the drill and transmitting the torque. Working part is a tubular prefabricated slotting structure in the form of two axially symmetric two-petalled tubular casings, connected together by means of flanges. Ends of the petals of the outer casing are provided with internal annular peaks, to which adjoin the end faces of the inner casing with pockets for segment cut saws. End faces of the petals of the outer casing and the cylindrical surfaces of the cut saws facing the center of the drill are provided with cutting teeth.
EFFECT: design of the drill ensures the production in the bone tissue of the femoral neck and head of blind holes and a hollow, separated (cut off) bone segment, which is then used in accordance with the technique for treating femoral head necrosis.
