FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway signalling, centralisation and interlocking devices. Track nonoccupancy is tested many times in a certain order in both shunt and normal conditions. After first test in normal conditions, check for absence of track relay armature false closing controlled by signal light is performed. Besides additional check is performed in normal conditions for sound operation in normal conditions and for absence of factors influencing the possibility of origination of false control over track occupancy. After second check, readings are summed up of the instruments that control realisation of traffic algorithm with subsequent cutting in of clear signal and locomotive signalling and testing normal shunt operating conditions in strict compliance with preset algorithm.

EFFECT: improved control of nonoccupancy of track controlled by signal light.
