FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention discloses a solar telescope, a diffraction spectrograph, a parallel-type polarisation analyser and a control unit. The polarisation analyser includes a collimator, a beam splitter, two quarter-wave polarisation plates, a polarisation splitter, an input objective lens and a matrix photodetector. The beam splitter, two quarter-wave polarisation plates and polarisation splitter are inside a cell. The beam splitter is made in form of two prisms with an angle between working reflecting faces for which beams coming out of the beam splitter spaced apart at angles which are multiples of double the angle between the faces of the beam splitter. The polarisation splitter is in form of two prisms made from Iceland spar with an angle between working faces. Six spectrum images in different polarisations without overlapping on a matrix photodetector are provided in the device.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of measuring magnetic fields and beam velocity.
