FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: intermediate transmission line is excited with the first test signal, system reaction to test signal is measured and compared to expected reaction. In case of mismatch between reaction of the system and expected reaction, a signal of mismatch is generated. Phase shift between input current and output voltage is used as reaction of the system. Besides, intermediate line of voltage transmission, comprising testing device for realisation of this method, is also described.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to quickly detect source of failure in networks of transport supply.
