FIELD: information technologies.

SUBSTANCE: during each reception of UDP multicast communication query packet, repeater of multicast communication determines whether this repeater of multicast communication has previously redirected this packet of UDP multicast communication query. If specified repeater of multicast communication has previously redirected this packet of UDP multicast communication, then it ignores this packet of UDP multicast communication. Otherwise by means of TCP/IP protocol, repeater of multicast communication sends specified packet of UDP multicast communication query to one or more other repeaters of multicast communication that have been detected.

EFFECT: development of mechanism for delivery of multicast communication packets from one network into another via network devices, which are not configured for routing of multicast communication.
