FIELD: information technologies.

SUBSTANCE: access terminal may be configured with the possibility to determine metrics of quality of direct communication line related to each of multiple sectors serviced by multiple access points; to assign points to each sector relative to metrics of quality of direct communication line; and to change value of data source control (DSC), if points accumulated for non-servicing sector at the border of DSC change exceed previously determined threshold, besides, non-servicing sector and servicing sector for access terminal belong to different honeycombs. Access terminal may be additionally configured with the possibility to change coverage of data transfer speed control (DTSC) in compliance of DSC change. DSC application may provide for early indication of service transfer, thus, making it possible to considerably reduce interruption in service related to server switching.

EFFECT: improved quality of service and higher efficiency of the system.
