FIELD: information technologies.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method for provision of replacing routes as quick reaction to failure of communication line between two routing domains (AS1, AS2) in packet-oriented network. After recognition of communication line failure, replacement routes are provided for route broken as a result by means of local selection of alternative routes of messages distribution along replacement routes. To provide for replacement routes, interdomain router (R3) checks, where a replacement route is available in router. If the replacement route is not available, query message is sent into at least one neighbouring interdomain router (R2, R3), by means of which notice is requested about at least one replacement route. If the replacement route is available in neighbouring interdomain router (R2, R3), it is informed of within the frames of response message to interdomain router (R1).

EFFECT: improved provision of replacement routes as reaction to noise in process of domain-to-domain routing.
