FIELD: means of communication.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication networks. Technical result is achieved by receiving, at the boundary node in the domain, a data packet along the interdomain path, and a packet header is attached to the data packet carrying a list of transitions on the route from the source, where the list of transitions on the route from the source indicates the ID of the path of the interdomain path segment without specifying individual transitions along the interdomain path segment, and wherein the interdomain path segment is a section of the interdomain path, which passes through the given domain, identification, on the boundary node, the list of transitions associated with the path identifier, where the transition list indicating a sequence of transitions along the inter-domain path segment, replacing in the packet header of path ID with the said list of transitions and relaying the data packet to the next segment transition of the inter-domain path segment in accordance with the referenced list of transitions.

EFFECT: technical result consists in increased efficiency of the distribution of domain routing from the source to multidomain networks.
