SUBSTANCE: single assignment may be used to assign multiple non-adjacent sections of pass band subject to use by wireless terminal, for instance at one and the same time as pass band of upperlink or downlink. Various sections of pass band dedicated to terminal may have various number and/or locations of protective subcarriers. Besides, this wireless terminal in broadcasting signal receives appropriate information on protective subcarriers, or this information is determined from memorised information. Certain versions of invention are realised with application of OFDM signals, where wireless terminal may create or receive OFDM symbol, including subcarriers, for instance tone signals corresponding to various interrupted sections, but not in the frequency band that separates the specified interrupted sections.
EFFECT: using multiple non-crossing sections of pass band subject to use by wireless terminal.
