FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: communication device, for example a base station, measures noise information, for example information on noise from another sector. Said communication device creates a preamble which includes multiple pilot symbols, where at least one of these pilot symbols includes noise information. In certain version, the preamble is part of a super-frame structure, for example a repeating super-frame structure, which includes the preamble and multiple frames, where at least some of the frames are used to transmit traffic data. The communication device transmits the preamble, thus broadcasting noise information to access terminals. An access terminal receives the preamble which includes multiple pilot signals, where at least one of the said pilot signals includes noise information. The access terminal restores noise information from the received preamble and controls signal transmission based on the restored noise information.
EFFECT: high efficiency of using the bandwidth.
