FIELD: fire fighting equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire prevention. A fire extinguishing system comprises a fire extinguishing agent tank, a fire extinguishing agent sprayer, a propellant powder and initiator punch, a control unit, conductive connecting cables. The control unit is provided with an unauthorised start-up protection mechanism and start circuit integrity control devices. The fire extinguishing agent tank represents a thin-walled polyamide or metal flexible tube. The punch is rigidly fixed on a tank wall and represents a chamber with a nozzle directed on the tube wall; the initiator is mounted on an end face of the chamber, opposite to the nozzle and connected to the control unit by a conductive cable. The propellant powder is equipped inside the punch chamber and comprises a solid block with a central axial channel and a profiled surface. The fire extinguishing agent sprayers are made as grooves on the punch surface interacting with the tube. The grooves are connected with the nozzle, one of them is annular, while at least one is rectilinear. The connective cable runs integrated in fire hazardous compartments are enclosed by a thermal cover.
EFFECT: development of a free-standing space suppression unit applicable in closed or half-closed spaces, mainly vehicle compartments, electric service panels, process plants, packed electronics objects.
