FIELD: fire fighting equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to fire prevention, while being a free-standing space suppression installation applied in closed or half-closed spaces. A gas suppression installation comprises a sealed end tube filled with a fire extinguishing agent, a tube pressure indicator with a sensor, and a stopper with a power rim. The pressure indicator in the form of an indicating pressure gauge is mounted in the tube end face with its sensor interacting with the fire extinguishing agent, while the stopper - from an opposite tube end face in such a manner that a power rim envelopes the tube, and a stopper counterpart is preloaded inside the tube and represents an annular groove on a cylindrical surface of the stopper of the width exceeding that of the power rim. The stopper has an end cap and a threaded segment with the end cap being mounted on the threaded segment, and the stopper has a through axial perforation the through axial channel.

EFFECT: invention enables the in-situ effective and operating control of the installation operability under all operating conditions.
