FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering, particularly to mid-wing hydroplane. Proposed hydroplane has wings and engines mounted above the wings. Engine nacelles support mid-wing to add to structural strength and stiffness and to improve hydroplane gliding properties. Easily removable mid-wing allows its mounting to increase hydroplane load lifting capacity. Mid-wing length can either be restricted by nacelles or extends beyond them.
EFFECT: improved gliding properties, take-off and landing speed and possibility to arrange extra fuel tank in mid-wing cavity.
