FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: wind-driven power plant includes windwheel with vertical shaft the lower end of which is equipped with conical pair of gear, the driven one of which is installed on inlet shaft of multiplying gear interconnected with hydraulic pump the outlet of which is connected to hydraulic motor bringing the electric generator into rotation. Windwheel is made in the form of rigid frame formed of N fan-shaped horizontal ribs installed at equal distance in N tiers. Peripheral ends of ribs are connected to each other with appropriate vertical ribs. Flat blades are installed by means of hinges on each horizontal rib, except lower tier, with possibility of free turn through 90 degrees and being pressed to the appropriate lower horizontal ribs. Horizontal ribs can be hollow and half-filled with liquid. Flywheel and hub of free-wheel clutch the casing of which interacts with output shaft of multiplying gear can be installed on hydraulic pump shaft.
EFFECT: reliable operation of the plant and simple construciton.
