FIELD: power industry.

SUBSTANCE: device for cleaning and treatment of liquid fuel for combustion includes filtering element located in the housing equipped with a cover and made in the form of flattened downward diverging cone. Magnet made in the form of coil and having the shape of flattened cone, which diverges towards upper part, inlet connection pipe with threaded slot, outlet fuel branch pipe which is located at a tangent to the housing at its bottom. Sediment trap made from non-magnetic material and having the shape of funnel the narrow part of which faces downwards is fixed at the housing bottom. Inlet connection pipe is arranged in upper part of the cover along the housing axis. Discharge branch pipe for contaminants is installed along the sediment trap axis; at that, upper end of discharge branch pipe for contaminants is arranged at the level of the sediment trap bottom and equipped with a valve. Starting from annular gap, between lower part of filtering element and upper part of sediment trap, there located is ultrasonic hemi-spherical annular emitter for mechanical cleaning of filtering element.

EFFECT: fuel quality is improved owing to its additional ultrasonic radiation cleaning from paraffins deposited on filtering element, which causes constant flow of cleaned fuel through filtering element and removal of those contaminants from cleaning zone to sediment trap.
