FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to thoracic surgery, and can be used in operations on lungs affected with emphysema. Essence of method lies in thoracotomy, sewing of pulmonary tissue on target line, lung resection. On resection line two parallel rows of machine stapled sutures are applied with 7-10 mm distance between them. Between sutures roll of pulmonary tissue is formed. Excision of resected section of pulmonary tissue is performed with preservation of both rows of staples sutures on remaining part of lung. Incision is made indenting 2-3 mm from stapled suture.
EFFECT: invention allows to obtain reliable hemo-aerostasis, improve post-operational treatment.
