FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, thoracic surgery. To determine the level of resection in a patient with pulmonary emphysema 1.5–2 hours prior to surgery, the patient is inhaled with a 10 % solution of 5-aminolevulinic acid. Fluorescence of the lung is then intraoperatively performed, and the level of the lung resection is determined by the boundaries of the colored area. Fluorescence is carried out with a laser electronic spectral analyzer LESA-01-BIOSPEC with a wavelength of 375–480 nm.
EFFECT: invention relates to medicine, thoracic surgery, is intended for the performance of surgeries for panacinar emphysema.
