FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: package of an infusion set comprising an infusion part and a needle carrier assembled with a needle, accommodates a bearing support for the infusion part and needle carrier, a non-needled element protecting an environment from an insert needle, a removable element detached by a user before inserting the infusion part. An interior of the non-needled element comprises a retainer for demountable fixation of at least a part of the infusion set. According to a method for preparing the infusion set to be inserted, a removable element of the package is taken off, an insertion accessory is attached to the needle carrier, the infusion set is removed from the non-needled element of the package by pulling the insertion accessory, and a removable layer is taken off; a proximal end of the infusion set is directed to the user's skin.
EFFECT: simplified procedure of inserting an infusion device.
