SUBSTANCE: invention relates to evaporation and can be used in chemical and food industries, etc. Proposed evaporator comprises housing, plate-type hearting chamber incorporates package of plates arranged between clamping plates, heating steam and evaporated solution feed unions, and unions to discharge evaporated solution and secondary steam. Heating chamber has vertical manifolds to feed heating steam arranged in plate package lateral side, while evaporated solution inlet and outlet are arranged on opposite sides of the plate package.
EFFECT: reduced metal input, increased operating time between rinsing and higher reliability.
