APPARATUS FOR CRYSTALLIZATION Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

Abstract SU 1352699 A1

FIELD: mechanical engineering, chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has a housing, boiling tube axially disposed within the housing, diffuser located at the upper end of the tube, heating chamber, circulation pump, pipe connection for feeding original solution and pipe connection for removal of evaporated suspension. The apparatus is characterized in that at the upper section of the diffuser a device made in the form of a hollow cone is disposed, a plurality of openings being formed in the surface of the hollow cone. Furthermore, a cone angle is selected such that axial lines extending through the centers of openings most distant from the cone vertex and orthogonal to its side surface intersect the apparatus housing wall above the pipe connection for removal of evaporated suspension at a distance given in the invention description. EFFECT: improved quality of obtained condensate, excluded formation of incrustations on inner surface of apparatus. 2 cl, 3 dwg, 1 tbl
