FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to organic synthesis and is designed to produce synthesis gas (composition: H2, CO). Proposed synthesis gas generator comprises reaction combustion chamber, gaseous hydrocarbon fuel, oxidiser and water feed assemblies, mixing head with ignition system and cooled nozzle. Proposed combustion chamber consists of three aligned consecutive sections with their inner spaces forming a cylindrical working channel. First section represents water-cooled cylinder with cooling water feed assemblies and mixing head. Mixing head consists of oxidiser feed assembly arranged along the section axis and furnished with honeycomb, ignition system and hydrocarbon fuel feed assembly that represents fuel injectors arranged in mixing head widening part inclined to working channel axis. Second section makes a cooling insert with segment that features ID smaller than that of working channel. Insert narrowing section tapered surface accommodates at least three centrifugal nozzles to force water in generator during operation. Thirds section makes uncooled or cooled cylinder with cooled nozzle.
EFFECT: reliable ignition, synthesis gas of required composition, simple design.
