FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: chamber of liquid-propellant rocket engine or gas generator with laser ignition device of components includes combustion chamber with nozzle, mixing head with component supply channels and laser ignition device of fuel components, which consists of small-size laser emission source with insertion and focusing assembly. At that, emission insertion and focusing assembly is made so that it provides the focusing of laser emission to the part of internal surface of combustion chamber of liquid-propellant rocket engine or gas generator or to its volume. Assembly can be tightly installed immediately on mixing head or on side surface of combustion chamber. Besides, device is equipped with at least one small-size laser emission source with insertion and focusing assembly, as well as a target installed in combustion chamber in the area of laser emission focusing. Startup method of chamber of liquid-propellant rocket engine or gas generator with laser ignition device of fuel components is based on supply of fuel components and ignition of fuel mixture by supplying the laser emission and its focusing to the area optic breakdown; at that, the whole flow of oxidiser and fuel is supplied immediately to combustion zone where the ignition is performed at the component ratio, which is sufficient for ignition of fuel mixture.
EFFECT: improving reliability of repetitive fuel ignition in the chamber of liquid-propellant rocket engine or gas generator; reducing mass and dimension characteristics of ignition system; reducing mass and dimension characteristics of liquid-propellant rocket engine or gas generator.
