FIELD: power industry.

SUBSTANCE: in the first version of invention there proposed is design of steam generator which consists of coaxial and in-series mixing head with ignition assembly, cooled combustion chamber, mixing chamber with nozzle, the inner cavities of which form common working channel, as well as includes supply main lines of oxidiser, fuel and ballast water. Mixing head is equipped with centrifugal atomiser for supply of some part of ballast water, which is located in oxidiser supply channel along the head axis. Between combustion chamber and mixing chamber there located is supply assembly of the rest portion of ballast water, which represents cylindrical insert equipped with centrifugal atomiser located along combustion chamber axis and directed inward operating channel of combustion chamber. As per the second version, steam generator differs from the first version with design of ballast water supply assembly which represents the insert having internal convergent section the diameter of which at the inlet is equal to diameter of operating channel of combustion chamber. On the surface of convergent section of the insert there uniformly located in circumferential direction and at an angle to combustion chamber axis are three or more centrifugal atomisers directed inward operating channel of combustion chamber.

EFFECT: ballast water evaporation intensification owing to its better mixing with fuel combustion products in wide temperature and pressure range of generated steam; improvement of cooling of steam generator combustion chamber.
