FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices designed to decrease moisture content of hydraulic mixes. Proposed hydraulic cyclone comprises housing with pressure and discharge branch pipes, nozzle to discharge thickened product that represents valve arranged coaxially inside said housing and limited by taper surface from above and cylindrical surface adjoining it from below. Lower edges of cylindrical housing and valve cylindrical surface are bent outward to produce annular clearance there between. Hollow valve is arranged to be displaced in horizontal plane and locked with respect to housing. Radial webs secured on valve inner cylindrical surface attach the valve to vertical motor shaft. Valve conical surface crest is located under pressure branch pipe with clearance there between. Drive that moves tie rods relative to brackets represents a screw pair comprising threaded tie rod end and two nuts arranged on both sides of the bracket to interact with said screw thread. Horizontal girder has two-slope hoods arranged at the point the girder crosses aforesaid annular clearance to discharge thickened product.
EFFECT: higher efficiency plus reduced moisture content of hydraulic mix.
