FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to separation of hydraulic mixes. Proposed hydraulic cyclone comprises housing with pressure and discharge branch pipes, nozzle to discharge thickened product that represents valve arranged coaxially inside said housing and limited by taper surface from above and cylindrical surface adjoining it from below. Housing and valve lower edges are bent outward to form annular slit between them. Valve may displace in vertical plane and be locked relative to the housing, and is arranged on vertical axle to revolve there about and locked thereon be bearings. Axle lower part is fixed on cantilever on horizontal beam. End of the latter are provided with two vertical tie rods to displace relative to brackets fixed on the housing and be fixed therein. Valve conical surface apex is located below the level on discharge branch pipe. Drive to displace toe rod relative the brackets is made up of screw pair comprising threaded tie rod end and two nuts arranged on both sides of the bracket.
EFFECT: higher efficiency plus reduced moisture content of hydraulic mix.
