FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming, in particular to method of pulse-impact surface plastic deformation (SPD) treatment, and can be used for finishing and hardening processing. Proposed device comprises disk-like case with radial dead holes to receive deforming elements, balls, with separator ring arranged along the edges of said disk. Piston-like deflector is arranged under deforming ball. Piston has end face in contact with deforming ball features concave shape reversed to that of deforming ball. Central threaded bore, wherein jet is screwed, is made on piston opposite face. Piston cylindrical surface has a groove to accommodate rubber sealer.
EFFECT: expanded performances, reduced wear, higher efficiency and lower costs.
