FIELD: plastic working of metals, namely surface plastic deforming of partially spherical surfaces.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of imparting rotation to blank and to deforming tool. The last is in the form of ring embracing blank and having deforming members arranged on raceway of its inner surface. Circle along which deforming tool rotates is arranged in plane shifted relative to center of blank. Deforming tool is also subjected to additional planetary movement around axis passing through center of blank, parallel to ring axis and shifted from it by eccentricity value e determined with use of calculation formula.
EFFECT: enlarged manufacturing possibilities, enhanced efficiency and quality of working.
