SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nature protection equipment and can be used primarily in agriculture. Sludge digestion tank comprises cylindrical housing, branch pipes to feed initial product and discharge wastes, biogas feed branch pipe, central tube with hollow walls and branch pipes to feed and discharge heat carrier, biogas discharge branch pipe, vertical appliances to immobilise anaerobic microflora made up of vertical porous-structure rods. Set of vertical rods is integrated at its top part by rigid frame suspension reversing rotation inside sludge digestion tank annular space formed by central tube and sludge digestion tank cylindrical wall. Sludge digestion tank cylindrical wall incorporates heating jacket. Sludge digestion tank top incorporates annular hydraulic lock and electromechanical drive coupled via rigid shaft with rigid frame suspension. Rigid shaft is coupled with hydraulic lock submerged cap.

EFFECT: intensified heat exchange between heat carrier and biomass, reduced irregularity of biomass heating, intensified mass exchange between substrate and anaerobic microflora.
