FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a mixture for preparing a waterproofing sutural composition having penetrating effect and relates to agents used for endowing cold construction joints, joints and abutments in reinforced concrete structures, cracks and exposed cavities in concrete with water resistance. The invention solves the problem by creating a new insulating composition in which the waterproofing effect is achieved owing to inorganic salts (nitrates and chlorides of alkali and alkali-earth metals, sodium sulphate, carbonates and hydrocarbonates of alkali metals), which ensure plugging of pores in construction materials (mud injection), as well as partial or complete replacement of sand filler with tripoli, diatomite, silicic rock, clay-bentonite, which are filling materials which increase water resistance of concrete and mortar, since they swell in conditions of saturated calcium hydroxide solution and mud fill capillaries and leakages; cracking resistance is achieved due to use of fibre in the composition.
EFFECT: preparation of a water proofing composition having a penetrating effect, with high cracking resistance for porous materials, for sealing cold construction joints, joints and abutments of reinforced concrete structures, cracks and exposed cavities in concrete.
