SUBSTANCE: spiral-stitch fabric consists of joined groups of spiral coils woven in a pattern of chain armour type. Alternating groups of two right-screw spiral coils and two left-screw spiral coils are joined to form fabric body. In each group turns of spiral coils are woven in a pattern, which does not require fixing to joint coils. Alternating groups are connected by alternation of turns of according coils and insert of parallel pins passing through channels formed by alternating turns.
EFFECT: provides for flexibility of cloth along diagonal.
