FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: powered support comprises base supporting structure and linear supporting sections. Base supporting structure is divided into two base sections each of which consists of front and goaf walls with hydraulic props of stay brace. Each linear section consists of hydraulic prop with top part and support plate, which are fixed on the capsule with stiffeners; at that, bottom of capsule has thickening in the form of a shoe. Front and goaf walls of base section are connected to each other with extension-type cross beams with hydraulic jacks inside them and brace hydraulic props on their ends, and their middle part is kinematically connected by means of extension-type brackets having correction hydraulic jacks inside them with linear support sections.

EFFECT: excluding jamming and seizure of support sections, stability of support, and possible up-dip moving of sections.
