FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: thrown shell includes tray provided with axial groove from high-strength polymer, and strike element arranged in axial groove of the tray. Groove shall be through, and side surface of strike element and mating surface of groove shall be cone-shaped. Larger base of strike element is arranged forward in throwing direction.
EFFECT: increasing carrying capacity of the tray.
