An axial recess is made on the front end surface of the tray, its depth is selected proceeding from the condition of arrangement of the lesser base of the cone of the subcaliber member supporting ring above the tray end surface. The internal axial duct of the muzzle cap has a stepped shape, the diameter adjoining the barrel muzzle end of the internal duct inlet exceeds the barrel caliber, and the diameter of the duct outlet exceeds the diameter of the duct inlet adjoining the muzzle end. A cutoff ring is installed in the duct outlet for movement in the direction of movement of the subcaliber member, it is connected to the muzzle cap by a split coupling, the inside diameter of the cutoff ring is less than the tray diameter, but exceeds the diameter of the striker of the subcaliber member.
