FIELD: slow-speed power motors. SUBSTANCE: electromagnetic-reduction synchronous motor has toothed rotor with tooth number Zr, toothed stator, and m-phase winding, each phase being divided into two parallel-interconnected semi-phase with diodes inserted in them. Semi-phases of each phase are spaced 180 electrical degrees apart. Stator teeth are uniformly distributed over its circumference, their number Zs being related to that of rotor Zr by equation Zr=Zs± p, where p=1,2,3 ... is number of pole pairs in stator m-phase distributed winding. Semi-phases of each phase are differentially interconnected; finishing lead of second semi-phase is connected to starting lead of the first semi-phase. Diodes in semi-phases of each phase are cumulatively connected relative to starting leads of these semi-phases; each semi-phase has p cumulatively connected coil groups.
