METHOD FOR NONINVASIVE ELECTROPHYSIOLOGICAL EXAMINATION OF HEART Russian patent published in 2011 - IPC A61B5/402 A61B5/55 A61B6/03

Abstract RU 2409313 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, functional diagnostics and clinical cardiac electrophysiology. Method for noninvasive electrophysiological examination of heart includes the following stages: fixation of registering electrodes on surface of chest; registration of ECG; processing of ECG-signals; CT or MRT of chest; building and editing of computer minute models of chest organs and heart; building of polygonal models of trunk and heart; building final element grid of chest area; detection of coefficient of specific electroconductivity for each point of chest; detection of coordinates of registering electrodes on surface of chest; production of isopotential charts on polygonal model of trunk; reconstruction of electric field potential in specified points with account of found values of coefficients of specific electroconductivity; visualisation of results of heart electric field reconstruction; clinical assessment of results. To detect coefficients of specific electroconductivity, a type of biological tissue is identified in each point of tomography data, corresponding to Hounsfield number in case of CT or to value of intensity of MR-signal in case of MRT, and afterwards a value of specific electroconductivity is matched with found type of biological tissue.

EFFECT: using method makes it possible to increase accuracy of noninvasive failures of cardiac rhythm and other cardiovascular diseases.
