SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming and can be used for finish cutting with part reduction. Part to be cut in pressed into lower die with rounded cutting edges, lower die cavity decreasing with its edges getting rounded to finishing cutting clearance. Note here that used is lower die with rounded cutting edges, their rounding-off radius varying from 0.5 to 1 gap in cutting at given thickness and type of material.

EFFECT: high-quality cutting due to irregular all-round reduction.
