SUBSTANCE: air tire comprises bead filler rubber element 8 that features hardness Hs1 varying from 80 to 95 and running radially outward from bead ring 5, rubber element 9 of clamping part that features hardness Hs2 varying from 65 to 85, that is lower than Hs1, to form bead outer surface. Carcass 6 consists of inner layer 6A wherein main section 11 that embraces bead rings 5 on both side incorporates section 12 bent around bead ring 5, and outer layer 6B that runs along outer surface of main part 11 and consists of main section 13 that terminates at the pint whereat radially inner element is clamped between main part 11 and bead filler rubber element 8. Height Lc of bend 12 from bead base line BL makes 60%, or less, of tire profile height L, while height Ld on inner end of main part 13 makes 60%, or less, of aforesaid height L1.
EFFECT: higher resistance against cuts, reduced noise.
