FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: to obtain moulding compound and a moulded article, molten thermoplastic is mixed with nanoscalar inorganic particles and a substance which promotes dissolution in an extruder with screw-type transportation. The nanoscalar particles are preferably added in dispersion form. Pressure and temperature values are selected such that the plastic is in molten state and the substance which promotes dissolution is in supercritical state. The mixture at the outlet of the extruder passes through a gap smaller than 20 mcm to a decompression zone and molten mass with the added particles is output. After cooling, the mass is crushed until a moulding compound is obtained or is transferred into a moulding apparatus and an article is moulded. Presence of nanoscalar particles in the thermoplastic particularly determines hardness, rigidity, refraction index, suppression of glare on the surface etc.
EFFECT: improved mechanical characteristics.
