FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises dividing material flow into a number of strips and diverting one or several alternating strips into sampler. First, loose material flow is directed to divider along free fall trajectory. Note here that strip from central part is isolated by cutting the flow along its length. Then, the flow of material with preset thickness continuously moves at preset rate so that qualitative characteristics of flow strip cross section are determined in crosswise direction. Proposed device comprises sampler mounted behind conveyor belt and connected with rotation drive by plates and bush, and splitter board. Said sampler is made up of driven rotating flat ring, disk or conveyor, shaper and ejector being mounted there above. Sampler is arranged perpendicular to splitting board on opposite side of falling flow of material, while splitting board is arranged perpendicular to conveyor belt motion. Vertical slot if made in splitting board along falling material axis, slot length equals or exceeds flow thickness, while its width being multiple of material grain size.
EFFECT: higher validity and safety of sampling, possibility to use continuous quality control.
