FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: lanes are divided into sections at the boundaries of which stop-and-go lights are installed. With go-light, transport facilities move along the lanes crossing boundaries of sections equipped by pickups to register crossing of said boundaries. In case there are obstacles in any lane, pickups that fail to send signals are used to determine the sections with blocked traffic and to turn signal lights at the start of said boundaries into stop-lights. Signal light at the boundary of previous section of the given lane generates amber light, an arrow, to indicate lane for transport facilities to change into. To quickly free obstructed lane traffic, short-term stop-light is switched on additionally at signal light installed at the boundary of adjacent lane whereon, then traffic is resumed.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of control, particularly, in jams.
