FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention involves application of a natural sorbent to plough layer depth. The sorbent is represented by ground zeolite-containing tripoli powder of the Khotynetskoye deposit taken in a dose of 3 t/ha mixed with phosphorus and potassium fertilisers doses whereof are defined by the rate of phosphorus and potassium availability in the soil. The zeolite-and fertiliser mixture is applied non-recurrently during plantation establishment across the whole of the field. Then tillage with heavy disk harrows. Nitrogen fertilisers are applied in the spring of the following year in the row-spaces under cultivation.
EFFECT: reduced content of Ni, Zn, Cu in berries and possibility to produce environmentally safe black currant products on soil where heavy metals content exceeds the background level during the whole of the plants exploitation period.
