FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: procedure consists in continuous casting steel work-piece (5) in crystalliser (2) of installation for continuous casting (1), in rolling cast steel work-piece in first rough train (6) into rough hot-rolled strip (7), in further rolling rough hot-rolled strip in second train (19) into hot-rolled steel strip (21), in processing rough hot-rolled strip to temperature of rolling between first and second trains in device for temperature control (14) and in winding hot-rolled steel strip into coils or in cutting hot-rolled steel strip into sheets. Increased versatility of process and reduced expenditures at change of assortment is achieved due to removal of scale off rough hot-rolled strip directly before entering the device for temperature control, whereat strips are treated in medium of protective gas, and due to rolling in the second train immediately after this stage. The combined installation for casting and rolling for implementation of this procedure consists of the corresponding equipment.

EFFECT: expanded functionality and reduced expenditures at production of strips out of various grades of steel in continuous process of their production.
