FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: space platform consists of bearing case equipped with folding modules connected with bearing case by detachable hinged units, with rotating solar batteries mounted on bearing case by means of electric drives, with instruments of service systems positioned inside bearing case; further, space platform consists of elements for fastening payload and of units connecting bearing case with system of detachment. The folding modules are equipped with swinging mechanisms and units of attachment of the folding modules to the bearing case. Inside the folding modules there are arranged elements for payload fixing. Additional solar batteries are mounted on the folding modules.
EFFECT: expanded functionality and improved operational characteristics of space battery.
