FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to well drilling, and namely to cutting tools of side openings in casing pipe of the well for further drilling of the second shafts. Arrangement includes hollow mill reamer fixed on drilling string, wedge-diverter suspended to mill reamer on shear element and equipped with hydraulic attachment assembly with supply channel of working fluid for its fixture in casing pipe and mechanical attachment assembly, which are connected to each other through separating assembly. Internal axial through channels are made in mechanical and hydraulic attachment assemblies and in separating assembly. In channel part of wedge-diverter there is coaxial through channel to which the inserted pipeline is connected to provide hydraulic interaction of cavity of drilling string with inner space of casing pipe of the well through hydraulic nozzle. Arrangement is lowered to the well; when the specified depth of lowering through drilling string is reached, working fluid is supplied to the well and arrangement is wedged up in casing pipe with fixing elements of hydraulic attachment assembly; after that, both attachment assemblies are separated from each other, drilling string is lifted, turning angle of wedge-diverter is set as per the readings of telemetric system for the wedge-diverter to reach the required direction, and wedge-diverter is turned and finally fixed by unloading some part of the weight of drilling string without supplying working fluid.

EFFECT: required attachment strength of wedge-diverter is achieved, nonproductive time for those works is shortened and technological capabilities are improved when cutting side openings.
