SUBSTANCE: invention relates to connector modules which interface network components particularly with interface modules for shielded connectors. The interface module (12) has a housing (26), having several holes for sockets which can receive shielded modular connectors (14). The housing has a mounting wall (52) passing along one side of the holes for connectors. A communication bus (28) is connected to the mounting wall and has a connector interface (60) which can engage corresponding shielded modular connectors. The interface panel can engage the mating surface (24) of the panel (10). The communication bus can create an electrical connection between corresponding shielded modular connectors and the mating surface of the panel.
EFFECT: possibility of connecting shielded connectors and/or earthing of the switching panel.
