SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture. Method provides for improvement of biological activity of permafrost soils under conditions of northern farming. Amount of microflora is increased by improvement of microorganisms nutrition by addition of green manure fertilisers in soil, such as ground green mass of natural herbs, green mass and roots of winter rye, barley, oats before blossoming in the end of July, in the beginning of August, when northern plants accumulate highest quantity of nutrient substances.

EFFECT: method assists in increasing quantity of useful microflora, participating in processes of biological activity of permafrost soils, 5-10 times compared to amount of microflora in natural permafrost soils and in soils with application of mineral and organic fertilisers.
