FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of welded tubes with high impact viscosity of welded seam, for example, tubes for oil wells, or tube with specified welded seam durability, e.g. well casings. Proposed equipment comprises strip feeder, device for mould dressing, device of roll forming in stands with gages with edge-guiding elements, induction heater and contact-welding device to weld strip edges on squeezing. Edge-guiding elements produce inclination on lateral edges on strip inner and outer surface sides and have two stages of inclination. First stand edge guiding element creates preset inclination on strip RH and LH side edges on side that corresponds to tube inner side surface. Second stand edge guiding element creates preset inclination on strip RH and LH side edges on side that corresponds to tube outer side surface.

EFFECT: perfect characteristics of welded seam.
